Searchlight Raises $2.5M Seed Funding Round

Listen Later

Searchlight, a San Francisco, CA-based hiring software startup, raised a $2.5m seed funding round.
The round was led by Accel with participation from Founders Fund, Y Combinator, Soma Capital and angels Jason Boehmig, Mathilde Collin, Nick Bushak, Amber Feng, Charlie Songhurst, and Julia DeWahl.
Co-founded by Kerry and Anna Wang, Searchlight provides a SaaS platform that allows companies to make the best hires by automating and improving the reference check process.
The software provides customers with the analysis of each candidate, which makes hiring committees more informed and less biased.
The platform was developed in partnership with companies like Udemy, Wonderschool, and Snapdocs. | To read full story, visit https://startuparound.com/read/1574636411.567041/Searchlight-Raises-$2.5M-Seed-Funding-Round?ref=audio_experience
