Gooch was born and raised in Mānoa Valley, O‘ahu. He found himself in Hilo in his early twenties dancing hula with Hālau o Kekuhi -- which awakened his passion for a life of building community through food. Gooch and his wife Amanda Corby Noguchi started Pili Group, over a decade ago, and dedicated their lives to creating a better world through food, education and community. Gooch has a unique approach to work and life that exudes love, gratefulness and joy all year around.
