Named one of the "5 Emerging Pacific Islander Artists To Know" by Grammys.com (alongside American Idol winner, Iam Tongi) - Kala‘e Parish is a multi Nā Hoku Hanohano Award winning Native Hawaiian country singer songwriter. He has shared the stage with top country artists like Brett Young and Rascal Flatts lead singer Gary Levox. In this episode, we talk about the devastating loss of his daughter at birth and how he's using music to heal. We also talked about the transition into becoming a full-time musician and the biggest piece of advice for someone looking to take a chance on their dream job.
