Everyone talks about how singleness is a gift, but often times those voices are from people who have been married for a long time and/or married young.  Here is a fresh take on the lessons I have learned from being single for 28 years of life.  While it does not always feel like it, being single is a gift.  BUT it is only a gift if you are actively waiting on the Lord and serving him.
