i know God was speaking to me 
tryin to show me something
when i read over written down prayers
He heard my appeal 
While i didn't acknowledge the magnitude of my asking 
He fulfilled my needs with ease 
though it was never easy for me 
i always knew i wanted to be free
but i didn't know that in being free that meant facing me
