On episode 6 of UWP, Yosef and Laura discuss Federalist Papers 15-17. In these papers, Publius argues that in order to be effective, the federal government must have legal authority over individuals. He then makes his case that the federal government would never overreach and the scope of its authority would be extremely limited (spoiler: the scope of authority today is anything but limited). The podcasters also discuss the proposed Balanced Budget Amendment and the push for a new Constitutional Convention.
