Too often we can get so caught up in trying to make our mark in the world that we neglect making a mark in our own family. We all want to feel like we haven't wasted our life and that we made a difference. But in order to truly be happy in this endeavor, it takes a more God-centered approach with a desire for the betterment of others rather than another trophy on our own shelf.
