Obsessively Outspoken

Season 1 Recap (Part. II)

Listen Later

In today's episode we continue to highlight episodes from season one. We would be remiss if we don't take time out to examine the shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh a month ago. We conduct a candid conversation about hate crimes, domestic terrorism, gun violence and racism in the United States. We vehemently urge America to initiate the long overdue dialogue that we've all been evading for decades.
We shed light on T.I. and some of the community programs he is currently initiating in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. We do the same for Lebron James as he continues to transcend the game of basketball. We also talk about Michael Jordan and where his legacy stand in regards to social activism.
We discuss the new Quincy Jones Netflix documentary as we focus on the man, music and mentor. Lastly, we take a close look at the Megyn Kelly blackface scandal that led to NBC terminating her contract.
Thank you for joining us today.
