In case you missed it, in Season 13 we will alternate between past and present, releasing current episodes, like last week’s, and Season 1 episodes, like this one. Our hope is to take advantage of this amazing gift (our past selves, on tape) to motivate, inspire, and enrich our journey as we tackle the same goal, 17 years later: running a half marathon together, and inviting a nation (you) along for the run.

So here we are, our first (and zeroth) episode ever! Marvel at the fact that our friendship pre-podcast is shorter than our active, podcasting friendship. Cringe at the poor recording quality (and absolutely nothing else). Struggle along with us on our first, cotton-clad jogs. And yes, Steven does call Anthony’s wife “hot.” But apparently she was flattered.
