Welcome to the start of a new beginning!After a slew of technological, business, and personal challenges; we are back and ready resume our mission of helping to demonstrate the connection Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) has on our everyday lives.

The mission is the same but we’ve modified and adapted our approach to maximize the impact of this show. To start this episode we explain the changes we’ve made to the show during our hiatus. Next, we once again re-establish the significance of our mission to enhance STEM literacy with some insight from astrophysicist Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson, http://www.haydenplanetarium.org/tyson/) courtesy of footage from an interview he conducted with CNN.

Also in this episode, we introduce our new mailbag segment of the show where we respond to question and comments sent in by you the listener. In this episode’s mailbag, with some assistance from our special guest, mechanical design engineer Nicholas Pinn (@Th3Prince1), we address a very commonly held concern about transitioning from school to professional careers in STEM.
