One of the many great things about being a professional scientist is getting the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting projects. In the final installment of our conversation with Dr. Lisa Moore of the Rutgers Cancer Center, we speak with Dr. Moore about how her research in neuroscience helped lead to her working with NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) on a research project related to NASA’s Mission to Mars initiative.
In addition her work with NASA, in this episode, we get Dr. Moore’s take on science related public policy issues, as well as her tips for helping to get more young people aware and interested in pursuing STEM career paths in professional science. An amazing conclusion to an incredible conversation!
