I like to think of this episode as some good news and offer hope for the future of pediatric cancer research in a time when our world is hurting. I had the pleasure of speaking with Laura West and again with Courtney Rinaldi from the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. In this episode we highlight all the great things LLS is doing to keep live saving cancer research funded and moving forward no matter what. We review and talk in depth about the LLS Children’s Initiative, a 100 million dollar world wide effort to discover new pediatric cancer treatments for blood cancers. We talk about how LLS can help your family through a cancer diagnosis every step of the way through treatment and beyond. We highlight ways to get involved with LLS through fundraising, volunteering, and joining the movement for better treatment at the governmental level.
