For this Mother's Day episode, we sat down with Decatur's Jen Winn, a self-described lover of eclectics, as well as an author, mother, and wife whose story might be too colorful to fit into just one episode.   

Just a year after earning her master's in counseling, Jen and her family were devastated by the loss of one of their twins to SIDS in 2011. Simultaneously grieving that loss while continuing to be a mother to her family, Jen authored a book on her recovery and spiritual journey--which meant leaving the idea of a "perfect life" at the door.
