Jockia Wilson wanted to share her story with my listeners of what it's like to be a single mother of an almost-three-year-old son despite her having Cerebral Palsy. And although it is extremely difficult at times she has managed to not give up. Being a single parent is difficult. Raising a child while being a special needs parent is sometimes even more challenging. Now imagine raising a child and you're a special needs parent without the support and help of a partner. Jockia has managed to take care of her child while having medical issues, and/or physical limitations. Which has required physical and emotional endurance that is challenging even for a team of parents.
