After being excommunicated from the Mormon church, Glenn Taylor Helzer decided to form his own "self-help group". With his younger brother, Justin, and their roommate/Justin's girlfriend, Dawn, Taylor started "The Children of Thunder". The only problem was they were broke. So Taylor came up with a plan to finance their new religion and his plan would ultimately cost the lives of five people.
