Hey bbs! For our latest interview this season, Auntie sits down in her proverbial living room with the spellbinding pole artist and creative, Cami Árboles. Many know Árboles from her viral pole video of the then-Yale graduate spinning in her cap and gown to celebrate earning her degree in Performance from the Ivy League university. The watershed moment broke open a conversation on the presence of pole’s place in such lofty institutions and also marked a huge transition in Árboles’s career. The shapeshifting goddess would go on to famously teach SZA how to work the pole, collaborate with FKA twigs, open her own movement studio, and tour the world teaching others the power of pole.
