Tonight I want to share with you My Path To Advocacy, how I got involved with Amputee Coalition of America as amputee peer visitor and started becoming an advocate for amputees mostly for amputee peer support. But what I have found since working with my company in this industry there is serious need for peer support and a total lack of understanding about the rights of amputees by both medical professionals and patients.

The need for peer support for the emotional aspects of amputation for new and existing amputees is in great demand here in Central California.
