The journey of moving from your undergraduate degree to a post graduate degree can be unyielding, leaving you feeling disheartened and exhausted. This new mini-series of the podcast is focused around dealing with disappointment. We have asked different people to come on to the podcast to talk about their experiences of disappointment with the GAMSAT or med application pathway. We talk about mindset and how to learn from these experiences in a productive and reflective manner. First up we have Vera, a first year Dentistry student at the University of Melbourne. She sat the GAMSAT 4 times before getting the score that enabled her to get an offer for her dream course! Tune in as Karim asks her about her GAMSAT experience, how her mindset shifted over the years of applying and what lessons she learnt about the system and herself.
