An Appointment With… a man who doesn’t do appointments at all! You are more likely to find hair stylist Sam McKnight in studio, or on location with the world’s top models, designers and creatives, than in a salon.

Sam is a man with unparalleled talent in the industry, working with Chanel, Fendi, Burberry and Vivienne Westwood. He’s lost count of the number of Vogue covers he’s worked on – but thinks it’s in excess of 600 worldwide - and he’s the only hair stylist to have an entire exhibition devoted to his work (Hair, by Sam McKnight in 2016 at Somerset House in London). He’s a total icon, the real deal.

Sam’s stories are superb… and he shares some of them here with me. From being Diana’s go-to through her ‘freedom’ years, to working with the original supermodels (which he still does today), and how these women, and his life on shoots and backstage have helped him formulate his fantastic Hair by Sam McKnight brand.
