In this episode we have a fascinating and inspiring conversation with LaVonne Whitehead about sexual assault, bystander intervention, victim blaming, just-world hypothesis, assumptive world theory, and sexual violence prevention education on college campuses. LaVonne is a social worker and long-time activist for domestic violence prevention. She is the lead educator in the CARE to Stop Violence program at University of Maryland, College Park and oversees the Step Up program, which teaches Bystander Intervention practices.
