Learning how to use our new Artillery Sidewinder X1 printer

Print bed size is 30 x 30 x 40cm – so this printer is huge

PLA+ is our filament of choice currently.

We need to update the PTFE tube for a Capricorn one – which has a higher temperature tolerance

We also have a new Metal Extruder Arm coming to replace the plastic one

Fitting is requires taking the print head apart !!!

Also looking for a de-burrer

Current issue is Elephant Feet which has the first layer slightly wider than all other layers

The way to get models onto the printer is via a memory stick, which is a great solution
