You're in a time of testing.  Honestly, that's not a sentence that evokes joy . . . but maybe it should.  In school, who really looked forward to tests and exams?  Okay, there was probably that one person.  But I wonder if they were more excited by the possibility of learning or the prospect of showing others how much they knew.  Not sure.  Still, let's think of the test as what builds and strengthens us -- what prepares us and serves us best for years to come.  

Today's reading is from Psalm 105:19 (CEV), "Joseph remained a slave until his own words had come true, and the Lord had finished testing him."
