Our experiences with clients have drawn our attention to the prevalence of road traffic offences in Ghana and consequently necessitated this episode, which is the first leg of a two-part series on the legal regulations regarding driving in Ghana.

This episode aims to guide the general public through the preliminary legal requirements of driving, including the process of obtaining a driver's license; ensuring a vehicle is properly registered; acquiring a roadworthy certificate; the necessity of vehicle insurance; the steps to getting your car insured, the various types of vehicular insurance; among other relevant legal requirements that must be complied with to ensure compliance with Ghana’s traffic laws.
