We are back with Season Two, episode Six of 'I Am A Diva Podcast'.
Her blog ‘Gigability’ looks at concerts from the perspective of a wheelchair user: e.g:
*Toileting facilities.
*View and ease of access
In hope to educate venues on how to be more accessible!
‘Irish music gems’ the podcast, originally came from a conversion of a radio show, she did, with the same name! She had ‘Beardfire Music’ artist Zoe Clarke on a live radio show with her and Rohan Healy from ‘BeardFire Music’, offering their artists & then converted the idea into a podcast! The whole idea is to promote a showcase the best of Irish music talent.
In this episode Niamh tells us all about:
*What can music venue owners & promoters take into consideration, to create more inclusivity for people with disabilities?
*The venues and outdoor events she had her most positive experiences at & what infrastructure were in place to support that?
*How can we, as musicians & regular gig goers show our support to wheelchair users & what can we do more of?
*Why she fell in love with digital marketing & much, much more!
