Season 2, Episode 8: Hannah Montana

Beyond the Lens is a bi-weekly roundtable podcast features in-depth reviews and behind-the-scenes look at various children’s media. Co-host Eric Scherer is a theater kid at heart in charge of Actors Reaching Out and Restore The Magic, both 501(c)3 Nonprofits. Podcast creator and co-host Rico Robbins is also the Director of Education and Research for Restore The Magic, a graduate of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College with an associate’s degree in Digital Media Technology, and an avid fan of various nostalgic shows meant for children. Our third co-host PJ (Peyton-Justine), better known online as her Coldplay meme alter-ego Clodplaye, is a singer-songwriter, actress, and fan of Disney shows and movies, especially The Hunchback of Notre Dame. (She is also a fan of Coldplay and Owl City. Did we mention Coldplay?) Together, this entertaining trio will tackle one piece of children’s media each episode. Is it well written? What works, and what doesn’t? And if the piece of media is not recent, does it still hold up today? With occasional guest interviews with the minds behind some of these shows and books, this is one family-friendly podcast you do not want to miss!
