This week, our recording day included opening up our listener gift, cooking dinner, watching both shows, and then actually sitting down to record! It was a long and wonderful day!
For the pod, we recapped "The One With Phoebe's Dad" and "Slap Bet."
Phoebe thinks her dad is a tree surgeon living in Burma but soon learns that her mom and grandma have been lying to her. Ross obsesses over Rachel forgiving him. Rachel and Monica throw a "tropical" Christmas party. And Chandler and Joey give the worst gifts ever.
Robin won't tell the gang why she's averse to malls. Ted obsesses over learning the truth (we sense a connection to Ross here). Barney thinks he's solved the mystery. And we are introduced to Slap Bets--something that needs to happen often!
