In this episode we have the pleasure to chat with one of today’s most influential noses of modern day perfumery.
Rodrigo Flores-Roux was born and raised in Mexico City.
He studied biology in Mexico before moving to France at the age of 20.
In 1989 to attend the ISIPCA perfumery school at Versailles. Although he started out designing scents for shampoos and cosmetic products, he broke through into the fragrance world with the renowned Clinique’s Happy for women.
He is currently with Givaudan a Swiss multinational manufacturer of flavours, fragrances and active cosmetic ingredients.
As of 2008, it is the world's largest company in the flavour and fragrance industries.
Rodrigo has worked with many major brands such as Dolce&Gabbana, Tom Ford, Calvin Klein and John Varvatos to name a few.
