Welcome to season 2 of Extra Paint, a podcast for artists, illustrators, muralists and creators of all kinds. Join co-hosts Eric Freidensohn (aka Efdot) and Jessie Mordine for episode one of the new season. Eric is a Brooklyn based artist and muralist, Jessie is a textile artist, teacher and community creator and together they have created the Extra Paint podcast and @muralists community on Instagram.

In the first episode of season two, Eric and Jessie speak to the legendary artist Richard Haas, who has been creating iconic murals for over five decades. Richard is best known for his large scale designs that are hyper realistic depictions of architecture which transform building facades into works of art. We speak about the evolution of Richard's career, from drawing grids, to reimagining architecture using optical illusions and the challenges that face muralists even to this day.
