I was invited down to my local comic store, Dungeon Comix (www.dungeoncomix.com), the other day to record a question and answer session with an Austin, Texas artist.
Matt Frank (www.mattfrankart.com) is a cover artist for IDW’s Godzilla comics. He had a ton of info for us on being an artist in “The Industry”.
It was a great session, and Matt is a great guy.
Thanks to Robert at Dungeon for the opportunity practice my field recording and for letting me do this!
This episode was recorded using:
Audacity on my Mac Book Air, through my Alesis USB mixer, with Samson and AKG microphones and Samson headphones. It was mixed with Reaper. Buy them all! Well, except for Audacity. That’s free.
NOTE: The Dungeon has since closed the brick and mortar location, sadly. You may be able to order from them online.
