I am sure many of you wondered if you were going to see a St. Patrick's Day show this year. Allow me to reply with a resounding Fuck yeah Bay-Bay ! Paddy Rock was founded 25 years ago, by John Bowles and was at that time solely Celtic Rock and Punk. It was about 13 years ago I took it over and ran with it for a good long time. Then around the time of Covid Celtic Music started to wane globally. If an effort to keep Paddy Rock alive and relevant I began to pick up and play more Punk, Street Punk and Oi! as there were many similarities between the scenes and the cultures, crossing over in many instances. And this is where we sit today, celebrating Irish music and culture for St. Patrick's Day with an added smattering of Punk, Street Punk and Oi!. The show is not the 4 or 6 hour epics like they used to be, but I am certain they will get you up off your arse and ready for the Holy Day! Be safe and be smart!
Enjoy the show and thanks for listening.
