Welcome to Season 3 of Reel Poppycock, or as KC belts out in our intro: "We're back mutha-fluffers!"
Season 3 opens with a three episode unit covering writer & director Quentin Tarantino, and this episode is on the 2012 *Southern* masterpiece: "Django Unchained."
Ed has often said that Tarantino is one of his favorite filmmakers, but how does he feel about sweet potatoes? Yams are briefly brought up, but also how some stuff never completely changes. America has come a long way since the pre-Civil War time period depicted in Django Unchained, but if you think remnants of that bigotry has not been passed on through the generations, then you've just not been paying attention.
Stars Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz provided dynamite performances, and receive lots of love from the Reel Poppycock crew. Ed, KC, and Trevor share some of their favorite quotes during the "Who Said It?" game, and rank the film during the Poppycock Round-Up segment.
So: "Hey, Little Troublemakers," please join us for Season 3 of Reel Poppycock, and enjoy!
