Jacqueline sits down with Co-Founder of Alloy Healthcare, Monica Molenaar, and the Chief Medical Officer of the company, Dr. Sharon Malone. Monica shares her personal story of getting her ovaries removed (because she had the BRCA 1 gene – also known as the Breast Cancer Gene) at age 39 and the struggles she endured trying to find some relief from her menopausal symptoms. Dr. Malone explains hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and breaks down some of the misconceptions that are commonly associated with it.
