Today we're talking to Northstar Sail GP's flight Controller Billy Gooderham! After season 4, things were looking a little grim for the future of Canada's Sail GP team. They had lost a 2025 regatta in Canada, there were questions about ownership, and there had been radio silence from the social media sites. On November 6th that all changed when the team came roaring back with a new owner (Dr. Greg Bailey of biotech company Juvenescence), new skipper (2 time olympic gold medalist Giles Scott!) and a confirmation of an event in Canada in 2026 (gotta be Halifax, right?).
We talked about the hopes for the new season, life at the start line for an F50 flight controller, and the new T foils he tested which should lead to even faster speeds for Season 5!!
