The Dowry payment is something that is still practiced to this day by many African cultures. Many African men in the west fear marriage due to the ridiculously high price and tedious expectations and processes pushed on men just to be with the one they love. On this episode, The African Next Door interviews a pastor/service technician, youth worker, support worker and a scrub on their experiences and  challenges they faced during the payment of the dowry and the wedding that broke their bank accounts.
