It’s noticeably calmer now that it’s a Puck-free house in Season 3, Episode 12: Rebel, Rebel. Without the distraction of Puck, Rachel gets to know Pedro more, especially as she invites him to go with her to visit her family in Arizona. Pedro has some (valid) hesitations on going to an ultra-Catholic, conservative home, while Rachel is determined to rebel against her parents with a navel ring. Judd shows how big his heart is for his friends by surprising Pam for her birthday with a “This Is Your Life” presentation and an appearance by her boyfriend, Christopher, who then invites the gang to Lake Tahoe for skiing and merriment.
