Irwin Elman, who served his last day as Ontario's children and youth advocate on March 29, and Ashley Ash, who worked in Elman's office, join the podcast this week and talk about the closure of the provincial child advocate's office. They explain what the office did, why they feel the government's decision to close the office was a mistake and what the closure will mean for children who need help. Elman says that in the absence of his office, it's time for people to step up and talk to children who need assistance to help them find someone to discuss their issues with.
