Kicking off the New Year I sit down with Mr. David Hungerford, Tallmadge High School Language Arts and Speech teacher. This educator has a story! He has been in the world of education for over 20 years. 7 years ago he made his way to Tallmadge High School and our school hasn't been the same since. Immediately upon his arrival in Tallmadge he was determined to get as involved as he possibly could in the lives of our students. As a result he has established relationships with students that extend way outside the classroom!

One particular part of this interview really jumped out at me. David will share an experience he had when he was in school where he came to an intersection in his life that "gave him pause." He had to make a difficult and life changing choice. This turns out to be a major turning point for him. Wait until you hear our conversation about it.
