Meet my friend Cindy Scott - She is the owner and created Galveston Gal Firearms Training to offer safe, friendly instruction to law-abiding, everyday folks who want to learn more about personal safety and defensive tools. Her training is primarily focused on welcoming women into the defensive training world.
Finding women firearm instructors are hard to find! Cindy tells us about her journey into learning about firearms, starting her business, and taking on the Leadership role as the Facilitator of the League City Chapter of A Girl & A Gun. This is the only Chapter with a Leadership Team all certified as NRA Pistol Instructors, and now are branching out to be Rifle and Shotgun Instructors as well!
It's such a pleasure chatting with Ms. Cindy and sharing our experiences teaching both men and women all about firearms. Women not only learn differently than men do, but women think differently and TEACH differently than men do too! Enjoy hearing all about us having a great time sharing our stories!!
