This was an exceptional experience. The Jack Daniel's Barrel Proof was showing its' wares in a bold way. There were notes of maple syrup and caramelized banana that blended very well with the Shade Grown stick's vanilla and sweetness. The JD is stout at 128.7 proof but very manageable and doesn't require water to cut it down. You might consider adding a teaspoon or so but I didn't and it was delicious with a super long finish.
