21 million --- that's TWENTY-ONE-MILLION --- background checks were conducted for the sale of a firearm in 2020.

Here’s another staggering number...The National Shooting Sports Foundation estimates that 8.4 MILLION people bought a firearm for the very first time in 2020.  That equates to 40 percent of all purchases!!

The total background checks in 2019  was 13.2 million, and in 2016, there were 15.7 million background checks conducted for the sale of firearms. 

This year’s 21 million total surpassed 2016 by 5.3 million, or 34 percent!

So what does all of this mean?  There are a BUNCH of brand new gun owners out there and a lot of information for them to learn.  By doing your research to find a knowledgeable, trained and reputable instructor, you are doing your part to join the ranks of fellow Americans who also enjoy their Second Amendment Right!
