Thermostats are clean, sanitary, and efficient, but fireplaces are messy, a lot or work, and yet a beautiful place to gather.  This week we talk about how our messy prayers can be a part of a more engaged life of faith.   Faith, vulnerable and honest prayers, working through tensions and brokenness can all be messy, but like the work involved to build, stoke, and maintain a fire in a fireplace, it is beautiful and worth it.
