I hope everyone is doing great out there. It has been a while since I have sent out a newsletter. As mentioned in my last newsletter, life throws you curve balls, so I have been reading and adjusting for life’s curves.
Not to go into many details, but my career in safety and health for a corporation has been one of those curves. Over four years ago, after listening to Dr. Zach Bush on the Rich Roll Podcast about glyphosate and GMO food. I started to raise flags with important people and anyone who would listen.
In a way, I had predicted much of the crisis’s going on today with food and supply chain. I said over and over; some sort of environmental or health crisis will change the way we do business and live our life… No one would listen, and yet, here we are. It is a great missed opportunity, very disappointing and frustrating. But we can only do what we can do, and I give it to God.
After breaking every record in my job that I could track with metrics. Not being allowed to advance or influence more people in safety and health in the workplace or the community. It is the crux of corporatization and no longer the “family and people focused” way to do business… It was time to move on.
So, I continue to practice what I preach, Living to the PLUS. It is a bit scary and life in general is uncertain. But I am practicing living a life of gratitude and positivity, focusing on my health and wellbeing, establishing my focus on my future and best opportunities, and surrounding myself with the best people/ family I know.
