You are a GP at a metropolitan clinic. A question you are required to ask your patients is whether they identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. This is a routine question which you do not usually give a lot of thought to, but today you have a patient who identifies as Indigenous Australian, and is offended by you asking about his cultural background.
