I know what a burn pit is. You probably know what a burn pit is. The public not associated with the military; do they know? As a whole, no. Will they take up our fight with us? I believe so. I believe if we show them. Tell them our stories. Break down exactly what is going on with us. After they get over the initial shock of what we have been exposed to. The toxins that have seeped into our skins and the fumes that invaded our lungs. The cancers. The tumors. The things that killed, or are killing, us. I say “us” because these toxic exposures have affected the entire community of “us”; from serving military to veterans to contractors, to deployed civilians, to an ever-growing list of “us”.

The burn pit & toxic exposure series will start this week with a basic overview of burn pits. Basic to ensure our message is seen and heard. We need to get the word out. We must ensure we are heard.
