In this episode, Nikkisa shares with me the cultural context in which even the idea of religion was presented to her from her two very different sides of her family.  Her mother is 100% Iranian and her father is 100% Midwestern American.  She shares how she has navigated her life and found ways to still draw upon the strengths and wisdoms from her bicultural upbringing.
