  • Matured in specially reserved ex-bourbon casks made from American Oak, before being finished in ex-Madeira wine casks

  • Appearance / Color: Golden hues
  • Nose / Aroma / Smell: “fresh apples and citrus fruits intermingle with cream fudge and sultana raisins”
    • Fun fact - there are 3 different types of dried grapes
      • Raisins - type of grape that has been dried fro around 3 weeks; dark in color, have a soft texture, a sweet flavor and are typically larger than sultanas and currants
      • Sultanas - made from green seedless grapes and typically coated in an oil-based solution prior to drying to speed up the process; typically smaller than raisins and sweeter, juicer and lighter in color
      • Currents - made by drying a variety of small, seedless grapes for up to 3 weeks; due to size have a sweet, tangy, intense flavor
      • Flavor / Taste / Palate: smooth, delicate, sweet, fruit (both fresh and rich dried fruit), with a hint of bitterness
      • Finish: long, leaving an aftertaste of Madeira cake and sultanas
