In space nobody can hear you scream about which movie is better, the original or the sequel. Luckily, we’re not in space, we’re on a podcast and you get to hear us argue about which is better between the first two films in the Alien franchise: Alien and Aliens. 

Jeff will defend the original that started it off with Ridley Scott’s Alien (which we discussed in season 1 if you want to go back and do some prep before this episode), and James Cameron’s (making his third appearance this season) Aliens. Will the tight setting and epic tension of the first film lead it to victory? Or will the non-stop action and lore expansion give the sequel enough to overtake the classic original?
