This is the week that we’re sure many of you have been waiting for. When the idea of “original vs. sequel” comes up one of the biggest examples that comes to mind is one of the first to ever enter the conversation: Star Wars: A New Hope vs. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes back. One of the most successful franchises in history and two of the best sci-fi movies will duke it out to see who takes it home this week. 

Jeff will argue for the original A New Hope and Steve will get the honor of defending The Empire Strikes Back. Will the revolutionary nature of the original take home the victory? Or will the expansion of the world and journey into a deeper story of The Empire Strikes Back be the one that propels the sequel to victory?
