We support over 520 groups, and many more start-up projects, who create green sanctuaries in hospitals and care settings, school, prison, and community locations, where practitioners use gardens, gardening activities and nature connection to help an average of 27 people at each project. Through these therapeutic gardening sanctuaries, people can recover from ill health, rehabilitate, overcome adversity, and increase their skills and confidence. Together with these inspiring groups, every week, we help more than 14,000 people to improve their health and transform their lives through gardening.
Trellis runs training courses, good practice workshops and an information service, and we provide on-site help and guidance. We support research and development in therapeutic gardening. And we make sure that the voice of our network is heard by policy makers.
We bring people together. Come and join us, we're here to help you.
Here at Trellis, we believe in harnessing the power of gardening to enhance physical, emotional, and social well-being. Supporting over 520 groups across hospitals, care homes, schools, prisons, and community spaces, we foster green sanctuaries.https://www.trellisscotland.org.uk/
