Inspired by Trayvon Martin and George Floyd, Shang helped found the Black Rebel Brigade, a community dedicated to “policing the police” and empowering others through education and self-defense. The BRB teaches survival tactics, firearm safety, martial arts, and the legal responsibilities of gun ownership — all with the goal of protecting and uplifting the Black community.
